Eleonora Fornara

I was born and raised in Florence, Italy.
Being a tour guide has always been my desire! Showing my beautiful city to people who come from all over the world is a dream for me!
After studying foreign languages at school, I participated in some exchanges and internships between California, Spain and France to improve my language skills.
I graduated in Tourism at the University of Florence and then I also specialized at the University of Florence in Renaissance Art History.
I started my career as a guide at the Synagogue of Florence, where I had the chance to get to closely know Jewish history and culture in Tuscany and I have never stopped focusing on it.
Each year I attend continuing education courses for tour guides to continuously build upon my knowledge regarding Florence and Tuscany.
I have been working as a guide and tour leader from 2010 in English, French and Spanish.

I love travelling, reading and movies! But I’m also a really sporty girl! I play soccer and when I’m free, I think the best way to enjoy my day off is by taking walks or a little trekking in the nearby hills or mountains!
